Kenneth G. Pilch has authored the Wilson Jennings series, four full length romantic suspense novels set in the Sheridan, Wyoming area as well as personal memoirs in two volumes titled A Taste of Memories on the Tongue. He is currently working on a standalone novel, Connor’s Choice, dealing with elk hunting, life and love in Wyoming’s Big Horn Mountains.
Kenn brings a wealth of experience in ranch life to his stories, as he has lived what he writes. He has traveled the world, having set foot on every continent but Antarctica. Kenn was a delegate from Wyoming to the International Farm Youth Exchange where he spent a year living and teaching in the Dominican Republic.
His years of hunting on the ranch and in the Big Horn Mountains above Sheridan, Wyoming have given him a love for the country, the animals and the people of Northern Wyoming. Kenn has spent time hunting and guiding in Alaska and lovingly shares parts of those experiences in each of the stories he writes.
Kenn graduated from Sheridan High School and received an Associate degree from Sheridan Junior College in Sheridan, Wyoming. He received his Bachelors degree in business education from Eastern Montana College of Education in Billings, Montana (now MSU, Billings). While working and raising his family of three children, Kenn earned a Masters degree in business finance from American College of Business Finance in Pennsylvania.
He worked in finance in Provo, Utah for 18 years before working with his son in construction and excavation in various locations. Semi-retired, he enjoys writing, traveling and watching his grandchildren grow. Sandpoint, Idaho is his home, now, where he continues to keep the books for his son’s companies and enjoys writing.
It is with great enthusiasm that Kenn is able to publish this fictional novel, highlighting his memories of the ranch and painting a picture of the Big Horn Mountains and the events where he grew up.
Though he has seen much of the world and the United States, there are few places more dear to the author than the Sheridan area and the people who live there.
